Today, customers who visit the florist website can purchase a multitude of floral arrangements, plants, gift baskets and more, all online. All information entered by the customer is uploaded, so customers can view previous orders, receive special occasion reminders, and reorder anytime with just the click of a mouse. All website orders are imported automatically into the order entry system for seamless completion by the CSR's.

The Results:

• Website sales orders increased from 10 orders per month to 10 orders per day.
• One fourth of new customers make their purchases online.
• Data received from new sales efforts makes it easy to arrive at exact ratios of how much money it costs to gain a new customer and how successful any particular marketing effort is.
